a fun place to be
“Grace” taking a swim on a hot summer day.
While our veterinarian is examining one of our parent dogs, she tells her assistant, “these dogs sure seem happy.” That memory still puts a smile on our face. It’s fun watching them wiggle and squirm wanting the staffs attention to get petted. A well balanced dog is a joy to have around.
And that is our focus. To do our part to care for our parent dogs and puppies so that your pet is healthy, happy and well-rounded. We understand the breeder has responsibilities when it comes to rearing these wonderful, loving creatures. That is why we chose to raise and keep our parent dogs and not have them live in “guardian” homes. We get to see them everyday and know they are cared for and loved.
Our approach to breeding is simple: Our parent dogs need to be happy and healthy. We not only understand that prenatal development is crucial to producing a well balanced puppy, we ensure our moms are surrounded with lots of love and a familiar environment. Being a small breeder in Picayune MS, allows us to have a more intimate relationship with our dogs. Each day, play and rest is monitored very closely. They enjoy over six acres of plush grass to run and play on and a then a long deserved nap is taken in their climate controlled kennel.

“Luke” has been trained to be a service dog.
Caring for our dogs is very challenging. The rewards, however, are great. Being hands-on allows us to be very in tune with these wonderful animals. Watching them grow and become such healthy and well balanced dogs is tremendously satisfying. We are truly blessed to be able to be with them 24/7 and ensure their care and safety. We can’t imagine having it any other way.
Keep in mind, all the dogs you see pictured on this site came from Willow Wind Doodles. It’s important you get a good feel for your new friend.
